Mapping can be easy!

At ICD10Files.com we have compiled the data made available by CMS into simple to use mapping files that can ease much of the pain of the ICD-9/10 mapping process.

  • Forward and Backward maps with all mapping options
  • Forward and Backward maps with one-to-one mapping (crosswalk)

What is a one-to-one mapping?

Due to the specificity of ICD-10 codes, the mapping files availabe from CMS provide every possible mapping combination for each code. This is helpful if you are working with a few records and have the data required to determine the specific map to use on a case-by-case basis. But if you are making bulk updates and need to consistently default to an available mapping option, they do not provide a one-to-one crosswalk.

At ICD10Files.com you can download mapping files with all possible combinations OR you can choose to download files that provide a single mapping option for each code. This will provide for ease of use as well as consistency in your mapping.

Can I download ICD-10 and ICD-9 code lists?

Yes! In addition to mapping files, we also provide lists of ICD-9-CM, ICD-10-CM, and ICD-10-PCS files in easy to use XLSX and CVS files. These files include the codes with and without decimals as well as short and long descriptions.
